I have a sennheiser 450HD and its great for gaming but helldivers enables this weird I can hear myself mode and ingame audio is ♥♥♥♥ because of that, it only happens in helldivers and no where else, anyone else with that problem ?

This is bluetooth, right? If so, do you have it connected directly to your PC instead of a USB receiver or something?

Windows has an absolutely dreadful Bluetooth audio implementation. There are fixes for it but I cba to look for them. Google something like "fixing bluetooth headset audio on windows" or something. The solution might disable your headset mic though.

you can set push to talk in the in-game settings menu. I'm sure you can control it through windows input output selections as well.

It's not that simple. Windows wants to turn on its telephony service BS when it detects Bluetooth headsets, which completely ruins audio quality. HD2 uses the default audio devices for the game, so you're just completely screwed.

I seem to remember having difficulty using airpods with windows for coms.

Since my all my friends use discord for coms my solution was to run discord and bluetooth coms through my phone, and use an open mic set to push to talk to communicate with randos.

Go to system sound settings, disable all other input devices except for the one you wish to use.

Simple fix; right-click the Windows speaker icon, choose Sounds, click on Plackback tab, right-click on Headphones, choose Set as Default Device.

Another option is clicking Recording tab, right-click on any "Hands-Free" profiles and choose disable.

450HD can be used wired as well can't they? Easy way to circumvent bluetooth issues.
