My reaction after putting all that work on Meridia.

-Did the Illuminate arrived?
No...

-Did we got any upgrades, fixes or anything?
No...

-Are we finally allowed to use the anti tank mines against bots and titans?
No...

-What happen?
We lost a planet and billions of people.

-What did we earned? Did we got the jet pack enabled now?
No...they decommissioned the whole facility. So no more jetpacks...(The fun lasted super short...thanks again for removing something that was fun AH)

-So we got nothing?
No, you got some medals for mayor order completion.

-So really after everything we did and fought for...we who already were full on everything but super credits basically got nothing?

People on this Forum in general really think the Illuminates are here in the next days. There is just a black Hole and a Developer that said he will take a long break now until the end of this month to fix the game due to the professional decisions since release. Wait until the majority realized that. They will react like you, OP. No Illuminates will be an issue.

I like the thought of destroying whole Planets though! Planets should fall on a weekly basis!

illuminate MINIMUM will come in a half year, if not next year.

highly doubt we will get an entire new faction with many new mission types assets, etc within a few months of release, ESPECIALLY with the onslaught of technical issues, glitches/gamebreaking bugs (that still arent fixed) and lack of exciting or interesting new weaponry/armor that isnt just copy pasted passives, or mediocre stats with a gimmick.

AH has a LOT more to do before adding more content imo, my entire friend group pretty much are at the point where the game isnt fun anymore due to it being like pretty much ensured we will get a gamebreaking bug PER mission.

Didn't even know the fluid was a jetpack until just now. Super bummed I never got to try it.

As for the purpose of this shindig, to progress the story. Much like how we pushed the robots away. It's so we don't feel like we're in a constant static tug of war, every now and then something like this will happen which I think is one of the very, very, very, very, very few things AH has done well.

But, spoilers. My map man was saying some lines that certainly aren't supposed to be in the game yet (thanks for the spoiler, AH).

My map man basically said that the Illuminate were spotted around the blackhole (this was before the blackhole even happened today), and the chances of them having survived are "much higher"

Oh yeah no absolutely. When the Illuminate drop I don't even want to go fight them for a month or two. AH has lost all good faith with me in making something even remotely functional at launch. Bugs and bots still have so many issues despite being the only two factions in the game right now. Can't tell ya how many times I've been shoved through the ground by a charger, had my pelican crash due to a BT, and have been shot through walls by robots.

I'm pretty sure that lore-wise, the Illuminate noticed that we just black-holed an entire planet with their technology.
I'd imagine that they're none too pleased with us and making plans for an assault.
It's just a matter of time.

I was not expecting them to bring them up right after. Just something, anything. But in the end we get nothing. At least when Cadia went off, something changed for Cadians. What changed for us? Nothing really.

I'm glad nothing's happening right now. Illuminates? They've been exterminated 100 years ago, they won't come back (any time soon, at least).

We already lost the planet when it became an uncontrollable supercolony. It's turned into a black hole to ensure the destruction of the supercolony and decrease the amount of spores coming from the planet. What billions of people died?

Grow some patience, jeesh. Maybe the AT mines will come soon, as there's talk about going on the offensive against the bots.
