stalkers are broken af
seriously can't see them at all and they stunlock like crazy. Stop nerfing weapons nerf some of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs. Spewers too

I think they're okay. A shock which is what you'd expect (and need) from an invisible ambush predator. They fly in quickly and flail around like they're having a seizure slashing the air which you can punish severely if you dive away and blast them while they're stuck in the animation.

They seem to be glass cannons somewhat, as I can kill them in one shot with an Arc Thrower on occasion, or just delete them with my Breaker shotgun.

Typically you get hit by them once, either 1-2 show up, and then after killing those you'll find their nest (pretty obvious on the map, when you know you're supposed to be looking for it) and you might encounter 1-2 more of them but then you destroy the nest and they're gone for good.

As far as the other "bonus danger" side objectives go, I'd rate Stalkers as one of least dangerous, just above Shrieker nests and Spore Spewers because those can be sniped from across the map with an EAT.

They might be pretty broken if multiple nests spawn next to each other at once, but I heard only a maximum of 4 can spawn per nest every 60 seconds, and that's only if you get unlucky and have two large nest holes spawn instead of the two small, one small or one large variant? If you got like, 3 Stalker lairs each with the double large nests in close proximity to each other...yeah, now that would be nasty. Team effort to eradicate kind of nasty!

Maybe they accidentally tweaked 'em quietly in this latest hotfix. I've not been having any issues with them lately, though.

The worst side objective to spawn in groups are Gunship Towers though, seriously screw those, that situation is the only situation I would happily abandon a mission midway through lol.

Here's the issue. 1 or 2 are annoying but doable. 4 or more stunlock til kingdom come. Nothing stunlocks them back except for 1 or 2 weapons. Not even machine guns stagger them when shooting em in the face. Then they toss you around and stunlock again. Insta death even with squad support if you're unlucky with stalker nest spawns. It makes for unplayable missions. Gunships are in the same light as well. The infinite spawn pools are cruel and ridiculous especially when they just pop out of nowhere. So you have patrols that spawn on top of you, then gunships/stalkers that zerg, hit like trucks and are dps sponges. I think the missions needs a better spawn algorithm overall. I've been in missions with 4 stalker nests. Or 2 gunship bays and a detector tower next to each other. That's just ridiculous. I've survived some but it was stressful as hell. So yes I am good. But I'm not a miracle worker.

Seeing how toxic this community has become... I uninstalled the game. I'm sure that makes all you guys happy. I miss the old community that had manners and positive encouragement. It's the natural cycle of things where the initiators leave when the hoi polloi come in after they hear that it's the next in thing. See ya, losers.

Yea in a game that lets you use a mulitude of weapons you need this specific weapon to succeed. Sounds like this game is definitely balanced.

Punisher and JAR-5 stunlock them. Breaker has enough DPS to drop one on your own. For support weapons, autocannon, railgun, and arc thrower dunk on them. That's right off the top of my head.
I'm inclined to agree. Skill issue. There's many ways to counter them: passives, shield, stim armor, scout armor (outrun + shoot)

They will run away when set on fire by indenceniary grenades.
