Sticky grenades
Sticky grenades. simple as that. i think itd be sick to dive to the side and throw one on a charger's butt. i dont know if this is planned or already a known suggestion, but anyways i agree it would be a good addition. they kinda already have this with stratagems sticking to stuff

My grenades get sticky during Summer. Sometimes I have to stand up and scratch them.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but when you upgrade the engineering bay, there is a stick grenade on the table next to the crew member.

Not a sticky grenade (though it could be I suppose) but an actual stick grenade that we don't currently have access to.

but why? you could simply use imapct grenades. no need to wait for any explosion... sticky grenades would simply be inferior to impact grenades

but why not? the helpless look on the bugs faces as they realize their impending doom from a sticky grenade is enough to have this

Sticky AP nades would be nice

some sort of sticky, short-radius, anti-tank grenade sounds great. i know there are already a lot of weapons for dealing with armored enemies, but this would still be a great feature

maybe a bit overkill? to replace grenades with blocks of c4 is much i think, but we might see some sort of remote explosive in the future

Sticky grenades give you a couple of seconds to clear the area if you end up sticking it on something too close, while still being easier than normal grenades to hit with. Kind of a middle ground between the two.

I've actually switched back to HE grenades because I got tired of blowing myself up. Also because they are much easier to land in bug holes.

Grenades blows up buildings. Why not a grenade that doesn´t require to look for the weakspot, maybe bring less charges than the "normal" grenades

Some kind of sticky AT grenade would be nice. Almost no splash, but a charge designed to blast open armour plating. That would instantly render a lot more playstyles viable, since you'd have a way to peel open a charger that didn't require a support weapon.

THIS

I'm using impact grenade since a week and love it. Sure you need to practice with it and get used to it not to throw at enemies which are charging at you from close range. :D

But it is awesome to oneshot entire group of enemies up to Hive Guards.

If it was anything like beacons, they would cheat and make it bounce off enemy armor but stick to player riot shields.

I love the idea of sticky bombs, but in practice they are often reliant on "How much will the game cheat to make them worthless when it counts?" If sticky bombs bounced off armor and cling to the outside of nests/vents, that would just be MMO trash to trick idiots into 'grinding for the new op thing'

They would need to be anti armor and practical for nest busting with a panic toss, otherwise stick with cooking default grenades.

i agree. some sort of armor busting sticky grenade, just enough to bust the armor plating on a charger's legs

i feel like the stratagems would do more of that job to be honest. if people carry around high explosive bombs, whats the need for an orbital strike?
