Bots who shoot flares
I feel like they do it too quick and also they should be more easily identifiable. many times I go take out an outpost only for one bot whos hidden to call in a dropship.

Look for the giant orange sword, but only one of them. That's how you can find the commanders who seem to call them the most.

They have a pistol in the other hand, but a single orange sword is the easiest distinguishing feature I've found.

My problem with bots/bugs who summon dropships/breaches respectively is that if you manage to interrupt them, another will IMMEDIATELY just do the summon

One of the problems is when there's like ten of thoses bots in the same place

Ya I've had 4 bots one after another try to summon reinforcements immediately after the last one was killed, same with bugs.

I mean it does not matter. Just kite them away while someone else does objective. No need to fight things you don't got too.

Still more fair than bug breaches. You can actually stop them mid flare, and only the small weak enemies can do it. So the top reasons you can't is one hiding behind a hill, or some as the kids say "Meta slave" light scout player triggering them, then thinking running away makes them pro.

People probably are so obsessed with "Stealth meta! just run!" because they got used to fighting bugs where unleashing the wrath of god can fail to stop a breach, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out a bunch of chargers etc is a pain in the ass.

Meanwhile, a few drophips can have everything smaller than a tank wiped out with an airburst if they group close enough.

I agree. It's too fast, they should give the player slightly more time to react and counter especially since you can have multiple of them doing it at the same time (bug?) It happens all the time vs bugs, not sure with bots.

You can, actually, stop bug breaches mid 'flare'. The bug will stay stationary, and start to spew orange smoke. You have about the same amount of time as flares to kill them, I've seen plenty of bugs start to spew orange smoke shortly before being shot to death, no breaches.
In the time it took you to read this message, dropships are already on their way.

It be like that. It's less a reaction to the flare, and more a reaction to bugs that aren't moving or the bots with flares and eliminating them as fast as possible.

I do think bugs should have the pheromone effect throughout the entire animation, however, and flares should be noticeable earlier or have longer animations. I'm simply stating how I've managed occasionally to stop both breaches and flares by targeting the right enemies.

The bot has to point straight up and then a second later shoots the flare. I honestly think its waaaay too easy to stop the bots from calling in reinforcements compared to the bugs. I do fight the bots a fair bit more than the bugs though.

I've killed bugs the MOMENT the first little puff of orange leaves their mouth and it has been too late. Even when you do stop the event other bugs will seemingly almost immediately resume the call. Where bots seem a fair bit slower or cant at all as they have no commissar left.

This is actually a problem, there is no cooldown on action to call.
I have seen jumpers immediately call right after they jump.
