friend of mine runs this on 970 with "balanced" render resolution, but fps is around 30-40

Can play between 60 and 30 frames on 1440p setting most on mid, it requires FSR at least on quality to perform correctly.

I think you can have a decent experience with that card, but assume you are not going to get a stable 60 framerate, specially on higher difficulties, and that you may relay on FSR.

I'm not worried about the graphics here, I'm just worried about the processor because the game mainly loads the processor and after so many years I won't lie the processor doesn't work stably at 100% load so I'm very happy with your comment because I play mainly in full HD

Nie wiem. Ja mam i7-7700K i 3060 TI z najnowszymi sterownikami i u mnie urywa się jak skurwysyn kiedy gram z innymi ludźmi...

I'm running a 4790/970 and get about 30 fps average using the balanced fsr setting

heavy combat can dip to 15/20, especially on the planets dense with vegetation

should be a similar experience with yours OP

60fps most likely no but 30-40s I'd say most likely hell now a day's you can use upscalers on upscalers to get a silly stupid boost to performance sure the game won't look good but with that hardware I don't think you'll really be worried about that to much but the question arises of how much is that cpu going to hold you back because this game needs optimization on the cpu side of things.

The overall big problem is cpu being to weak you really can't help that to much unlike the gpu side where there's upscaling to that can massively help out your gpu.

ok kupiłem gierkę z automatu ustawiło mi grę na ultra xD i na bazie treningowej mialem 50 fps :P ale ogolnie ustawienia dalem od niskich do wysokich bo nie wszystko jest mi potrzebne skalowanie ustawione na jakosc rozdzialka full hd i mam od 25-50 fps po czym ustawilem ograniczenie fps do 30 i gra caly czas je utrzymuje w walce procesor jak i grafika osiagaja dzieki temu okolo 60% obciazenia na statku jest najwieksze obciazenie i jest na poziomie 90% nie wiem dlaczego wiec mam nadzieje ze komus pomoglem i jak widac ponizej minimalnych tez na luzie mozna sobie grac bez pokazu slajdow i w calkiem ok grafice :D
wiec powodzenia wszystkim za DEMOKRACJE !!! a ja ide ustawiac dalej by wyciagnac najlepsza grafike przy stabilnych 30 fps :)
