If you don't have time for a mission, why even go? I can see if you get disconnected, but if you actively exit the mission I feel like there should be a penalty... Or at least if you "time out" too often. I could see people alt-f4 to circumvent it. Most missions are 40 minutes before support is pulled, if you don't have 45min to an hour of time when you start a mission, it's your own fault.
The more years go by, the more I learn punish systems are just to soothe egos in games so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jank, you are more afraid of being punished for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than anything you did.
I hit Alt+F4 when the game ♥♥♥♥♥ up and freezes, I already get enough garbage tier softban risks from darksouls wagging it's finger at you for a naughty log off when a storm takes out the power.
A lot of people don’t really realize you’re still on par with them. Even myself as I’m new to the game around level 10, I don’t really want you coming in and showing me all the toys quite yet. I’d also rather be playing with people who are about as new as me.
Suffice to say if you joined my game I wouldn’t kick you over it.
edit: just so i can clear things on my side, I avoid leaving or kicking people during ongoing missions.
