Not seen anyone mention PLAS-1 Scorcher can take out Chargers front legs

I used to use the Breaker, but I'm starting to fall in love with the PLAS-1 Scorcher.
It feels to me it has a higher per shot damage then the breaker, has an AOE, being able to take out multiple weaker enemies clustered up in a single shot. Can take on most armored enemies. Even damage Chargers in the front leg when the chargeer still has armor on their leg.
The only weaknesses the scorceer has is their low magazine count. And a Shield/Armor with reduced explosive damage feels like a must to not kill yourself when enemies jump in your face.

The scorcher is how the DMR should be is what I experienced.

It's fun for a bit, definitely a good primary to bring to soften up heavies since it does like double weakspot damage. and my god can you clear out an egg cluster with it. Still prefer the ol' defender for shoot and scoot shenanigans.

I tried it but not on chargers, it is more fun than the breaker but I ended up killing myself couple of times when the small bugs jump Infront of me while shooting, now I am switching between the breaker and the dominator

Because mayhaps not all people have it xD None of my friends have it and we play more HD2 as we should %D
Plus, most people are tied up talking about the "meta", so no place for PLAS-1 or other meaningful discussions ;P

Yea I'm 60hrs in and I just got to that green scout armor I'd bet not a lot of people actually have that gun.

i havent had much success with still plated front leg on charger with scorcher, but it does marvels at breaking their backside. about a clip on it and its gonna bleed to death after.

Same, I'm around 60h as well, lvl45 and I think I'm still like 300medal away from unlocking it. Heard good thing about it so I'm eager to try it out once I have it.

Scorcher is great for killing bots, it can kill every type of bots with enough shot on weak spot. Only it is not enough shot per mag and will kill youself in melee range

My main. It is a great weapon, but does take a bit more discipline to use than some other weapons.

This video shows that pretty much any weapon can kill chargers with leg shots, they have a vulnerability during certain animations.

I'v seen this weapon kill teammates and self way more than the Breaker.

its 1200+ medals for a suicide gun.

Endgame unlock so the people that have It have no problems dealing whit chargers

Issue with the Scorcher is the ammo reserves.

I won't use it for that reason.

There really needs to be some kind of bestiary because I've seen this happen ALOT with L/M Penetration weapons and thought the game was bugged but this makes sense now

Tried it on bots, anything that isn't a tank, turret or hulk dies rather quickly. For bugs, I only noticed that spewers go down in just a couple shots, which was weirdly satisfying.
