I know this was probably asked somewhere else but I can't find the answer.

Does anyone know what those yellow helmet symbols on planets mean ?
Players who joined? Died? Active players on this particular planet (less likely) ?

Are you sure? It's pretty high numbers (500 000 +) and it barely changes.

I can't post SC but it's pretty obvious when you click on a planet: Yellow helmet next to yellow numbers

robusto has the correcta gusto - and the green one is how many of your contacts/socials/friends are there

Bit of misunderstanding on my part, I know what you mean. Yeah, that is the number of helldivers active on that planet. Doubt that it could be 500 000+ on one planet as that would mean all of PC playerbase + some of Ps5 are on the same planet. But the numbers are big as a alot of people play this game.

I mean, Steam had an online peak at 458 046, so it COULD make sense but I still find weird to see a planet with 300-400K active players in the middle of the night tho...

It's how many player destroyers are on the planet. For example if player played there and left, it will still show that his destroyer is in that planet.
