How do the bugs travel through space?
Automatons I can see via technology but the bugs don't seem to have any flying enemy.

Meteors? Or are all planets simply invested to a very small degree with hibernating bugs..

well some informan around here say that super earth deliberately releasing bug to the planet to make sure they have just cause to release helldiver to there to liberate it.

The bugs were brought to many planets and systems in the lore to farm for their oil. And the bugs, being actually sentient and intelligent, ended up escaping and rebelling as a result. I don't know if they are capable of space flight, probably not cause I don't think we've seen them use technology yet in this or HD 1, but the entire terminid sector was considered a bug farm for oil
i think there are space capable bugs. there are flying ones at the very least because you can see them getting shot at by aa guns on the outside of some maps.

yes and no. superearth needs a source of oil, for some reason, and bug bodies dissolve into oil quickly upon death. so they are breed to create large oil reserves. issue is that they not only breed with eggs but also spores so the chances of a spore getting out is always non zero so eventually leads to an outbreak that helldivers have to put down.

The bugs had expanded before first contact to multiple worlds, so they likely have some method of FTL. That said, no one in universe knows what it is. With the enormous amount of planets seeded with Terminids for FTL fuel/Oil farming reasons, it's muddy if any given planet had a few escape to set up a nest in secret or the Terminids FTL'd there themselves.:raven:

The bugs are a peaceful race of benevolent space-faring arachnids who only which to make contact and exchange knowledge with other sentient species.

Ah right like Rick and Morty. They want to give cures for disease but humans can't understand them and thus kill them.

The bugs don't actually need any special craft, their unique/advanced physiology allows for interplanetary travel. They just group up like a flock of birds and cruise over to a planet and begin their anti democratic activities. Then we gotta step in and sort em out.

they have been purposely planted and bred on planets in order to make us able to spread our democracy

Okay, but listen. Yes we all enjoy doing our fun goofy lil DEMOCRACY rp stuff. But this is actually a theory that the bugs really do just want to chill and be left alone. Humanity did indeed capture and farm them before they started rebelling and attacking.

I thought we were all already aware of this

Probably, but everything about the actual lore gets bogged down so much I hardly see anything :aunope:
