Who else kicks useless teammates?
Been seeing a lot of the crybabies making posts about getting kicked from games.
I kick players from my games when I find out they suck at the game.
Was curious to see the reasons other players use for kicking someone.

I usually have a few criteria for kicking teammates:
1.) They have railgun and shield but do not solo heavies (tierlist noobs)
2.) They have breaker shotgun and I hear "last mag" after every engagement (tierlist noob pt2 and resupply waster)
3.) Takes another player's support weapon bc they didn't bring their own (selfish noob)
4.) Shooting at patrols that have no aggro'd, and not killing them before they call reinforcements (regular noob)
5.) Doesn't know how to reset to a safe position, yet plays on high difficulty (hard carried noob).

My main build focuses on dealing with groups and patrols, but I CAN technically deal with heavies as well. So, when I see someone taking options that clearly are meant to deal with large targets, I get a sigh of relief because I know that I don't have to deal with that problem. But...the game starts, and then I realize that the designated heavy killer is NOT capable of dealing with that problem...it makes me wonder:
What is the purpose of keeping them on my team if I have to do their job for them???? They're going to aggro more enemies and they won't be able to kill anything. That makes my job 3x as hard, because not only do I have to fulfill MY role, but I also have to cover them, AND I have to also fulfill their role now.

It's much smarter to kick this player.

Less players means that the enemies will be more tightly compacted together in groups, and you can kill them much easier. It also means less things getting aggro'd. These players are SO BAD at the game, that you know they are not checking their radar.

Is this toxic???
No. It's not toxic to disallow someone to ruin your fun.

tl;dr
Every time I kick a player, the mission becomes easier, which proves it was a good decision.

let me guess, in your head it all sounded cool, and like it makes you seem like a great player ?
well ♥♥♥♥ happened, in reality you've just shown how degenerate you are, that's always funny, arseholes don't even realise they are arseholes :)
if you think you're so great, just set your game to private, and good.

nah, your attitude about it is pretty toxic

if someones aggroing patrols you can just..leave them to it, theyll learn to just follow or theyll die and you can respawn them where you are, its never failed to get someone to start playing different tbh

or just using comms to tell them how to avoid patrols, why its important, or to remind them to just leave the breach they caused and head on (sometimes ppl just get tunnel vision and put themselves into a rut)

Not berate them mind you, actually just communicate, ppl can learn, or they get tired of dieing non stop and wise up

You frankly just sound like you need to play on private or in premades

Your entire attitude here is so trash i hope no one has to actually put up with you in game frankly

Lol, so, you're such a bad player that you can't play with noobs? Imagine being that trash at the game.

Let me know when you get on my level, carrying a squad of noobs through missions without being a whiny little complainer.

Do better, kid. Be better.

In summary
Sweaty MLG troglodyte is proud of being subhuman and hates cheeto dust on his k/board
breaker on last mag means he killed the trashmobs you were supposed to be able to handle, but you're just too slow (you don't handle heavies; you suck at dealing with trash mobs, what are you; idiot sandwich?)

It's only toxic if you do it long into the mission wasting peoples time not toxic if done early on

Lardar Mar 2, 2024 @ 2:21pm
Kicking someone is pretty toxic if they are not that great, maybe they need guidance and help to get better.
m4ko Mar 2, 2024 @ 2:22pm
Reality: OP is a toxic troll just wanting to troll.

I have played the game for 55 hours now and only ONCE have found myself kicking someone.

I mostly play on difficulty 7/8 and its simply not a problem. Sometimes people are super good. Other times just okay. But never complete trash. They are just playing the game dude...

Chill !
Cuthawolf Mar 2, 2024 @ 2:24pm
I've only kicked twice, total, since the game launched. Once for someone taking a backpack that wasn't theirs and not leaving it to be retrieved when they died, and the second time for griefing other Helldivers when respawning by dropping the respawn pod on the Diver who respawned them.
