On topic of spear. Is it me, or spear kinda sucks? Only three rounds, can't reload from ammo boxes, relatively low range and damage is the same as that of a recoilless rifle.
MG43 when I want to feel like a complete badass, and run aound with no ammo.
A great day will be had if they fix how inconsistent it is on slightly sloped surfaces
Now you have a huge wave clearer, and an elite killer, and a free backpack slot.
I prefer the MG, but wouldn't tell anyone to not use the Stalwart given the plethora of Primaries that have MedPen.
And THIS, my folks, is where you get the A$$ hat Meta-Kickers mindset. If you don't have a weapon(s) that can do it ALL you're a scrub.
Complete disregard for team composition and role play elements, which sounds cool until you realize people don't actively engage in it.
You must have a team that you can't rely on that you feel the need that you need an every weapon. I myself an Auto-cannon user can bust up mid targets and on bug missions i can save everyone their grenades taking out nest and from the safety of range.
However, even the AC, can't do much against the Bile Titan, So the rail gun guy can save his limited ammo and work with the Recoiless (with team reload)guy to also take Titans if our orbitals are on cool down. Yes the stalwart guy in my squad keeps the trash off us the whole time :) and reloading on the run is critical on bug missions "you have to keep moving,". MG i think is better against the Automatons since you can reload behind cover anyway. Having weapons that can keep mobs off the team in always viable.
Hell Divers is a team based game after all so yeah i would do just that. Rely on your team to fill other roles.
