Trying VERY hard to understand why people are "kicking before extract"

For what? To what end? What is your purpose? To be a douche? Congrats. It's working. People hate you. I cannot understand what it achieves to deny other people xp/medals/samples/requisition WHO HELPED YOU COMPLETE YOUR MISSIONS. It makes little to no sense. All it says is "I'm a scumbag, so let me treat other people like garbage because my parents didn't love me".

Real original. International Tyrants called. They want their historical idea back.

Damn, that hasn't happened to me yet. At least the people who've kicked me had the decency to wait until the match was over. Sucks that this game is full of so many scumbags.

Literally just had a game where we were on our way to extract, they reinforced me and then kicked me. Game before someone ran into my napalm and then kicked me.

Like on launch no one was kicking anyone and now 3 of 2 matches I got kicked, no point even playing because you don't get XP.

The game is also poorly designed. In Deep Rock Galactic, for example, you can't kick anyone once the main quest is completed. The developers of this game didn't anticipate the maliciousness of the players, which was a mistake. There are seemingly 20% "salty" players in every game. And since the group consists of 4 people, the chance of having such an antisocial person in the group is high.

If one player alone goes for and extract as soon as the mains are done and the others(including host) are trying to go for the other side objectives and samples.
I would see that as a somewhat valid point to stop him if he does not reply to either the thext or voicechat.
To join a random mission and go for extract as soon as you can even if the others dont want to is just a ♥♥♥♥ move on it's own.


However if everyone is at the extraction and kicking someone there, it's just a ♥♥♥♥ move as well. If you don't like the guy, kick him once you are aboard the ship again. Let him have samples and exp.

Supposedly hosts can kick someone right before extract and then invite a friend for full rewards. I'm not sure if this is actually happening as I have never done/tried it, but supposedly its a big reason behind a lot of the kicks.

I had something like this happen last night. I was the host and we had completed the main objective, but on the way back to the extraction point there was a bug nest to clear out. 2 ran straight past it, me and one other stayed to clear it. One of the 2 that went straight to extraction initiated it leaving the other 2 of us absolutely NO WAY to get back in time. We were too far away. I didnt kick the jerk, but he is now on my block list. ♥♥♥♥ like this is why I might kick someone next time this happens. Not sure yet. I used my mic to chew him a new arsehole the entire time the extraction was counting down.
