Over the shoulder is still heavily used in the gaming industry.
"seriously it's 2024 and you can't figure out fps?" is just you lacking the ability to enjoy a variety of experiences
My guy. I mainly love FPS games too. This game being primarily third person and not ham-fisting a halfbaked first person mode doesn't make it "Forced"
Hell, this game WOULD be cool if it had a first person mode, but that ultimately is up to the people making the damn game. Them not wanting that isn't "Forcing" ffs.
Of course though naturally, with most people who disagree with one another on steam,IF you disagree with me, your just white knighting.
This was bait wasn't it? Well, I fell for it ig. So, congrats.
And it's not pvp, so your point is not valid here.
I get that some appreciate it.
My question was as to why?
The responses were typical to steam forums.
"REeeeeeeeeeeee I like it shut uppp!!!!"
They got my money. I rarely refund and frankly I've provided more than most. I'll ♥♥♥♥♥ about what I want to ♥♥♥♥♥ about and y'all will take time out of your lives to address me.
I mean in PvP, sure. But this game doesn't have any PvP. It's entirely PvE, and as for skill based accuracy, I'd highly suggest trying the game out on harder difficulties with certain weapons, where pinpoint accuracy in stressful situations is key. Again it just sounds like maybe the game isn't your cup of tea. Personally I love it, and I love the third person view. Now if I was playing PUBG or something, I'd want first person, and first person only.
Deep Rock Galactic and Starship Troopers: Extermination sound way more up your alley.
Does that help?
Because it's designed that way. It's a horde shooter where you constantly have to be aware of your surroundings. That could be done in FP, but it's done in TP to give a little more awareness of enemies that are designed to flank and hit you from the sides and behind.
It's genuinely curious how you're so unfamiliar with simple design choices and why they might be made.
Let me remind you how you started the thread off:
In other words, "REeeeee I don't like it shut upppp!!!!"
