Flamethrower

It’s actually quite good if you bring it with the supply pack and use it very liberally. The pack will instant fill your ammo reserve giving you the ability to light up large areas and swarms easily. Won a few 7s using it

It's actually quite excellent on bot levels. The flame thrower melts their arms off lol.

I prefer using it with the laser drone, using light armor make kiting with it easier too.

Only used it bc personal mission thing required me to. Was fun roasting bugs but would always prefer some kind of anti armor instead.

When you dont have something to puch though the heavy armor, Flamethrower works quite well.

Should have WAY more range. When did this even became the norm in games to give flamethrowers the range of a lighter+deodorant spray?

It can be tough to use, so don't expect too much. I kinda like it, it can be fun and it does okay for certain things... but you really have to learn how to use it because it probably won't be what you expect at first. I personally think it needs improved a little bit.

If they sold some fire resistant armor or something even came with it that helped you to avoid catching yourself on fire that would be awesome.

I like to set the ground on fire. Not sure it's all that effective but damn it looks cool.

You need to stack fire damage. Two people with flamethrowers, fire grenades, fire stratagems like napalm, etc. One person with a flamethrower is worthless, but stack a few, and you got a death squad.

Flamethrower + shield generator makes you a brutal shock trooper that lets you keep on target long enough to hose down those big hordes and survive long enough to get out. I love hanging back and then rushing in full speed to just rake it down an enemy horde or rush in to burn down an egg objective. It is immensely satisfying.

Fire damage doesn't stack though
