I was soloing a game earlier and for some reason while attempting to load up an artillery unit, little explosions kept popping of and knocking me down. No idea why or where they came from. it was almost like the game was telling me to stop doing what i was doing. so I gave up moved on to the titans and wouldn't you know the little explosions stopped.
Felt like i was being trolled.
If theirs a guy and his one job is to wipe progress from Liberating planets or setting the community back then that's Fd but thats one thing. Some admin on a power trip personally going into your game and manipulating the flow is a whole separate issue entirely.
If the "GM" is reading this then i want you to know I blame you for those explosions and I hate you. stay out of my games.
So you just never destroyed the enemy mortar battery? Because those are on the map dude, you can go kill them and it stops.
When did the bugs get mortars? lol. it wasn't like a mortar impact and they didint even do much damage. it was like something popped on my shoulder and then i fell over. as soon as i gave up and walked 10ft away it stopped. first time anything like that has ever happened after 20 lvls.
Which planet? Because quite a few of them have UXO that you can stumble on. Found more than a few nukes in fact, set off by the enemies without me being anywhere near.
I dont think you understand and I get why.
there was no real "explosions" imagine a power ranger taking damage and the little sparks coming off their suit when they take damage.
Im next to the artillery cannon, I havnt interacted with the terminal because im transporting the shells to the foot of the gun first and as im transporting a shell sparks fly out of my arm and i hear a "pop" then i fall over. no damage. get back up, pick up a shell then move 5 ft "pop" sparks fly out of my back then i fall over.
I leave and then it stopped. It was bizarre. it truly felt like an invisible force was just knocking me over as if to say " stop doing what you're doing and move on. "
idk which planet i was on.
I don't like that he basically undid all progress on Erata(sp) in the Terminid Territory when it was near full liberation using only a click, and would secretly reinforce Automaton progress on raided planets (like Malevelon Creek) after peak times, when most people slept (as was revealed by the devs).
There at least needs to be incentive for doing things like that, because it feels like a general waste of time and effort.
If it wasn't one of the buried ordnance maps then you're describing a bug. The gamemaster doesn't do that.
