Recommend me a primary that isn't the Breaker

The Breaker is effective and fun, but I'm getting kinda sick of using it all the time.

Slugger is good
Punisher is good
Scorcher is good against Auto
Liberator is good
DMR is good, dont use counter sniper
Jar 5 is good


Only real reason breaker dps is so wild is because of its fire rate and one mag reload. Cause even then the punisher has more damage but less dps cause the fire rate and 1 round reload balance it out.

Use Slugger on a devestator to make them go "Whoa hey there partner slow down and let's talk about this like civilized folks" before you nail them in the face.

Slugger is fun I think and the very first starting liberator is an ok all rounder.

Defender SMG is really good at drilling holes in robot skulls and will actually kill the small bots with a burst to the body. While the medium penetrating assault rifle will fail to kill small bots with a body burst, and is worthless for taking out tanks and sniper turret vents anyways.

use the diligence, dmr, bigger mag, not a ton of penetration, but it kills what it needs to and has accuracy and is a headshot machine.

Depends what you are fighting. I mostly fight automatons and usually bring the Scorcher, it's a godsend against them. The Scythe is also pretty nice.

Against bugs I would rec any SMG really or the base AR,

JAR-5 Dominator. Use it like a DMR. Super fun and satisfying to use imo.

I personally prefer the Punisher over the Breaker due to it's longer range and no reliance on a clip. At worst it just turns into a slower rate of fire rather than ever having to stop firing. I have a lot of fun with the Diligence against Bots though. Honestly breaker only really seems worthwhile if you can jam it halfway up a charger or hulk's butt. :v

Even with the low RoF making it shockingly slow at killing anything but trash in spite of the higher damage per shot listing?

I expect it is the really dire "oh 40 ammo is nothing, no wonder people are running away crying saying 'No no this is stealth meta honest!" ammo capacity/pickup situation that has people using the breaker more.

If the punisher (and slugger, but at least that is solid for bot skull fishing) had better ammo, people would be using them more than just to brag "I for one hate meta so am avoiding the breaker because I am a true gamer" hipster reasons"

But at least the punisher can kill things passably while it lasts! Oh my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god every gif of the spray n pray in action...

The breaker is the only outlier that does everything.

When something is already chewing on your face, and it is still alive after 2-3 pump action shots to IT'S face, the problem isn't "LOL breaker overpowered!"

And i say that as a guy stubbornly using the defender a ton instead of the breaker. I just have the honesty to admit breaker isn't overpowered while still being a dumb hipster avoiding the breaker.

Oh god, I am getting doom eternal flashbacks where a lot of manchildren cried "If you think you should get more than 24 shotgun shells at a time in a doom game, you just want to the super shotgun which is an overpowered weapon for babies and not true doom fans!" (fun fact, you get more rockets with max ammo than you get times you can shoot the super shotgun in a row. Imagine being a sucker thinking hookshots for 2 armor shards is OP compared to 'blew up 5 guys at got a full heal+armor refill because I froze them first)

By that point is just lacking mechanics cause yeah 2-3 shots on broodcommanders which I think your refering to are not gonna do anything, even for breaker. Cause they still can hit you without their head lol. Its not even a matter of you thinking it is its that fact that the breaker dps begs to differ compared to other weapons.

I dont understand the reference your trying to display but I use defender a lot as well. Its a good weapon, but I also know dps wise a breaker is gonna kill things way faster than a defender or punisher.

Deligence is a good allround rifle but strugles if there are to many enemies in meele range.
Deligence + smg pistol and your favority support gun is a good combo if you know what your doing.
