Quickplay is just not worth it

There is like a serious problem with people who have a toxic habit with kicking people just because they can and they get a good laugh out of it.
Just had a game where I stuck with them for all 3 missions of an operation and the guy kicks me at extraction 10 seconds before mission end because he knows that way I get nothing from the mission rewards.

I know the solution is to host by yourself and to block these people, but damn just having the option to kick you with no contest at all is really scummy.

ive played well, been nice, and been kicked towards the end probably 5 times its not fun but i dont get too upset

1, good idea it does seem to be a case that console players are much worse with this then others
2, I did both. The host was just toxic as hell, typical railcannon shield user who pretty much is just playing by himself and not caring about the team at all, can't do anything about that other then leave. Like I said after this experience I'm sticking to hosting my own games.

First of all nice job on getting banned by the botadmin, genius. Maybe pay a bit more attention once in a while instead of sniffing your own farts.
Toxic fits these people perfectly, I'm not asking them to be friendly, just common curtesy you know like most adults. There is definatelly something wrong in your brain if you go out of your way to ruin other peoples fun in a game.

I will say that I have never kicked anyone in a game that didnt deserve it, I recently kicked 2 people from my group near the end of the mission about 10 min left because they did not stay with me they were playing together basically like I was not there and it was my game.

So if you get kicked and not sure why make sure its not because you didnt leave someone off to fend for themselves especially if its because they came to help you in the first place and then you left them to deal with it alone and let them die alone and to respawn them away from there gear to add insult to injury.

I prefer to play solo now and if someone does join I explain that if they dont play as a team they will be kicked, i enjoy team play I enjoy watching eachothers backs and I love shooting bugs but if you join to play as a team with me and I end up by myself anyway I will just play solo.

Not saying this pertains to your situation but its a message to everyone to think about that when you join someone to play as a team to act as a team.

Splitting up is fine if you going in groups of two and you have someone to watch your back.

Never had this issue; but I have had a group of people that thought calling down an airstrike on every single enemy despite their proximity to an ally was a good idea. And I mean every single enemy, even those easily dispatched by small arms fire.

I've played over 100 matches. Less than 5 percent of the player base has the achievement for that.

I've never been kicked mid match before. It makes me wonder who posts stuff like this.
Or is it just people who want to be purposefully bad and toxic spreading a false narrative so the system is transitioned to something more abuseable?

Fans did this to overwatch. You now get penalized for leaving a game, even a quick play one. Doesn't matter if someone is throwing and it will waste your time.

I'm wondering if some helldivers just want this game where they can be as toxic as they want, never play objective and TK everyone and if you leave you get penalized for it.

That's honestly what it sounds like with this anti kick posts.
Hot take (apparently): a host should be able to kick anyone from their game at any time for any reason.
Anything else just promotes trolling.
If you don't want a world like that, host your own games.

Absurd take. If a random joins your team, helps out, is playing well, and is polite, there is no reason you should kick them mid-match. Wait until mission is over before making a team change.

Im just new, only have done two play throughs with people so far, the first match already had the host sometimes killing me just because he thought it was funny, or throwing grenades at me on purpose. So in the end when he was about to extract, i shot him and he lost the mission, lol. Don't be toxic, or you get karma in the end.

play with friends. more than 3 of my friends are always online, we have to play in split groups. Convince your friends to buy this game if they dont have it. Also tell your mom to make siblings so you can get friends off spawn
