Dear all!

First of all i want to appreciate the devs and the community. For the most part it was amazing. i love the game, the interactions, the hug emote which is a genius idea i guess.

However i wanted to talk about few thing i wasn't able to explain to myself.

Since im a big fun of shooters i want to discuss about guns in this game.

I. Non drop weapon

1. Primary weapon need to be rebalanced. For some misterious reason SMG which is considered as one handed weapon deals more damage than basic assault rifle which seemed kinda unfair in terms of the way guns work. I don't like the idea that basic AR just nails first hours of the games. Rest of the guns just bad. i was so badly trying to own this medals to achieve this guns just to use smj since i just like it more. But why all the guns are so bad?
2. DMR - i was expecting much more damage but nah, low fire rate game says, but what happend to the damage? i mean like it is unusable after 4 diff or so...
3. Shotguns - probably the most popular weapong among the players. They are reasonably good. Plenty of damage, fine range and supply. esp. Breaker
4. Liberator Penetrator - one question: why? and the other one is why? why u did this to this precious gun...No damage, small magazine. How come it penetrates medium armor but has no damage. It has some logic problem no? Expectations were destroyed...
5. Laser weapon. Scythe. In Hell Divers I it was great drop weapon with decent demage and ability to not reaload. But here almost same thing as with LB. just bad...

II. Stratagems weapon
I mean i get the idea that some weapons are chippier at the beginning and it allows players to slowly grow with a srats they able to use, buy etc. But why among all this weapons everyone use 2 or 3? Cos they are just gets unplaybe after lvl 6.

And this list makes sense. I agree with it. But you know what? it suck that it is like that...

And also. i really did appreciate the ability to mod exact weapon like it was before but not an options here...thats just unfortunate, but then make good guns guys....Make guns - good.
Can't imagine when there will be mech stratagems. No one will use guns anymore...

Before I got my slugger I was mainly running counter-sniper for bots. It's a solid one or two hits on most of them and I have no evidence for this but it feels quiet. My friend said it sounded like a silenced movie bullet instead of the normal type of sound when he sat near an enemy I took down.

Point is I've had decent success rate, but hard to not use Slugger now.

I think all of these are true:
  • There is probably imbalance in the weapons.
  • People at large have no idea what each weapon is truly capable of, including myself. I only learned today you can slugger down Striders.
  • Teamwork, strategy and stealth are far greater contributors to mission success than which weapons you bring, although there are some keys that fit some keyholes exceptionally well, like bringing Eagle Airstrike to any mission where there are factories or bug holes to take out.

Ooooh it being silent would actually make sense, I like it
I wish it did more dmg tho

Lib Pen is okay against bots if you mainly use your support weapon against anything that isnt a trooper or devastator, I've used it up into the 7-8 territory and been okay. totally unusable against bugs though holy hell.

im sure they are gonna do a rebalance update.
theres no way these guns are all as is or maybe they have more better gun versions planned.

i like how one guy put it tho "its as if every gun had a different developer work on them and they didnt communicate at all what there were doing"
