I am loving helldivers 2. Mind you I agree back 4 blood is better but then I love back 4 blood as opposed to most who do nothing but bad mouth it. Helldivers 2 might be better than B4B in time however as they add more content. One thing I really miss in HD2 is a way to really make a build. I love the card system in B4B and hope HD2 includes new passives on helmets or something and more gun customization so 2 people may use the same gun but in a few different ways or something. Just more depth in general. If they pull that off along with new mission types, biomes, enemy factions, stratagems etc then it will be better than B4B.

You're not wrong. B4B is a superior co-op shooter experience. It was even at launch.

What Helldivers 2 has is a great shell of a game. But there's not much inside that shell yet. It could be, in 2 or 3 more years of development, a great game. But it's far more likely that it remains a mostly-empty shell.

You probably don't know about the meta game. We haven't seen a lot of the game content simply because we're not there yet.

Also, why do people care about grinding? Have fun playing the game with friends. That's what the game is about.
