The game is just going to get more and more toxic as time goes on and as more people join the game.
Already saw host killing a guy with scorcher because the host wanted to use that weapon. happened everytime host died.
EDIT: Also, turn off crossplay. I've had significantly less negative interactions since I stopped playing with console.
I use the Super Citizen tag and so far no one has called me out for it but there are all kinds of people out there so I don't doubt that can happen. I did turn cross play off.
Why be a ♥♥♥♥?
Yeah I've met some people like that as well, but oh well, all types of people play the game so I guess some interactions will always happen, I was just concerned at how I've been having quite a bit of contact with those kind of people these past few days.
HD1 community was very small and very toxic. Only to be expected a lot of the toxic HD1 steam forum users would be toxic here too.
They can be spotted by the 'it's to easy', 'X needs a nerf', 'stop other people playing the game X way' or 'Your opinions aren't as important as mine' type posts.
They actually got HD1's difficulty ramped right up to the point it wasn't really playable/enjoyable for the casual.
Literally never heard this once.
Why would you run around without the premium warbond items? I have the premium warbond and I'm not a Super Citizen. Nothing in this post make sense.
It's probably a few people that got matrixed by all the meta videos and possibly reddit posts tbh, I turned off crossplay after a bit and I met 2 of the toxic ones within a day, but that's about it.
I literally helped one kill a Bile Titan using a Spear and they flipped out on me after the game and said "I've had enough of those Super Citizens" and then right after kicking me, I relaunched and I stumbled upon another one dude who got mad I said I was using the incendiary breaker saying "ofc you use that as well" and kicked me bruh
Before that it was more like some people being toxic team killing on purpose for who knows what reasons and then the occasional people complaining about P2W stuff probably not understanding that it's not P2W as they probably saw a bunch of videos on it and went "yes I know everything about it now and I'll complain" without even trying it.
A few kicks here and there as well but the reasons are often unknown lol
I'm not sure those people understand what P2W means or they throw this out randomly for no reasons, the only thing I saw the HE rifle was good for was to concuss some bugs and maybe kill some lighter enemies more easily but that's it. The incendiary breaker is very good against bugs in general and I realized it pushes some of them back pretty well but I'm not sure if it's the incendiary or if it's normal for shotguns.
Either way it's probably me being unlucky or there is a weird trend growing and people just follow the train.
I heard about that, I've seen a few people complain about certain things needing a nerf or trying to min-max stratagems and equipments but the latter was for good reasons, I've been kicked I think twice for people wanting me to play a certain way but it was when I was lower level so I don't think it's related.
But man I hope they're not going to do the same to the game, I don't think so considering the game is pretty huge right now. I mean I like when it gets difficult but it would kill a lot of the player-base.
That's it, they don't really care otherwise.
