might work vs robots on lower difficulty but on higher difficulty i see rocket devestors , rocket hulks and tanks wrecking it.
this is the first video showing a mech being used in game...
its included with the gameplay video
Really depends on the rest of the team, how skilled the pilot is and if someone has a REP-80, a healing 'gun' from the first game.
Vehicles could be quite powerful, but they were always vulnerable to being swarmed and chopped to pieces by melee enemies. That is one reason I want a tank to run smaller enemies over with. The TD-110 Bastion was a Tank Destroyer in the first game and it was pretty much impervious to small arms fire. Slow and needed a gunner to man the turret, but OMG when it worked... It really worked!
I want to be able to park hull down and blow things like cannon towers and bug nests up from across the map.
ya think?
The mechs are designed like they were in the first game. What we don't know, is if they will be one time calldowns like they were in the first game.
