Game stuck in Window mode

I had a mid game crash last night and when I went to boot up the game it was stuck in window mode. I tried to change my settings but the game locked me in the settings window saying my changes weren't saved even when I wouldn't change anything. I have since tried restarting my computer, updating my drivers, and even reinstalling the game with no fix insight. If anyone has faced this issue before or has any feedback let me know Id love to get back into the fight.

sometimes, mine goes into window mode. I tab out, minimize and maximize steam and it fixes it...don't know why it does that
