What's the best way to level up fast?

DIfficulty had EXP/Money multiplier so yes higher difficulty mean more exp/money
The fastest way is farm those defense mission, but it's so boring

Yeah higher difficulties do. The technical best way to level is play either faction of the eradicate missions on the highest difficulty you can muster. Try to find a group to play with if you can. Bring Rocket, Autocannon, and Mortar sentries and then something to deal with like BIle Titans or Tanks depending on the faction. Do them as fast as you can and rinse and repeat. This is also the fastest grind for XP, Money, and War Medals.

The current 'Meta' for farming XP is doing Eradication Missions vs the Bots at the highest difficulty possible using mainly mortars, but also other turrets like Autocannons. You can usually finish a game in about 5 min and net yourself 1000+ XP on the higher difficulties (7-9)

Just play the game, any levels. Levels above 20 gives you nothing of importance anyway, why do you want to rush xp grind ? That's the question, 1-20 is not that hard, even playing on 5 will get you good amount of XP, coupled that with clearing nest, side OBJ, you'll be 50 in 2 weeks or so.

Easiest XP gain is gonna be higher levels, the 15 minute missions, particularly to eliminate enemies. That said, I don't think that's worth it, as you aren't getting samples which will help you upgrade your ship. Doing the full missions is gonna help you as a Helldiver. I've put about 20 hours in and I'm about level 15. Just play the game.

farming xp is easy. the problem is you're now level 40 and Dog water at the game.

The 'efficiency' route is Eradication Mission spam.
If you're doing 'open' missions, clear the map. Nests/Factories/Tacticals all give XP.
Both scale with difficulty.
