And the devs said people doing one mission doesn't negatively effect the liberation rate at all.
Abandoning the operation does not affect the percentage in any way. The dev posting that made a mistake and there was an official post explaining it shortly after.

Ah, okay, thank you for that. Good to know we just suck, lol.

People need to do some reading or research instead of constantly attacking players who want to power level.
One was an actual dev, the other is a community manager on the discord (who is NOT part of the dev team). It'd be weird that that's how it worked in HD1, but doesn't in HD2.
1)tbh the game does a bad job in explaining how the freaking war works
by bad i mean it simply explains nothing.
pretty sure 99% of the player base does not even know that a single mission contributes nothing and you actualy have to complete multiple of them to finish a so called "operation
2) wasn´t the whole terminid sectors already all almost liberated?
did a dev pushed a button and rolled that all back?
if thats the case whats the point of even participating.
...not saying they should.
But the very obvious thing they could do is already sitting right there in the way the game structures operations.
They COULD just restrict you to missions in your selected operation until you finish or fail them all.
Honestly if you wanted to enforce mission variety, that is literally enforcing mission variety right there. One of those says it on the tin situations really.
Certainly not a "there is nothing that even COULD be done!" and throw your hands in the air and give up situation.
Saw it earlier in real time on the discord.
If so guess what that still wouldn't work because then you'd be getting people just killing themselves as fast as possible in mission to end it as fast as possible so they could get back to the farm because it's a whole lot faster to fail a mission than finish a mission so locking people into operations till they finish it or fail it will just piss people off and create a whole other problem on top of that.
The solution right now is just make your own squad that's it and play what you want nobody want to be forced & locked into doing something they don't like nor want to do.
