Pulover’s Macro Creator and Mini Mouse Macro
I dont use them and maybe the banhammer will come down on macro users one day, but if it helps you until then
May I recommend VoiceAttack!
It's a voice activated macro programme which allows you to enter any keystrokes into a profile you create (Including pauses and modifiers like Ctrl, Shift etc.), that activate via speech commands that you decide yourself.
So you can can easily get it to call in an "Eagle Airstrike", "Drop in Stalwart", "Inject Stimm" or simply "Reinforce" by just saying it into your mike while your running around.
Also I would change your "Stratagem"key binding from "Hold" to just "Press". That way you only have to tap the Ctrl key to keep the "Stratagem" list open on screen while you choose which one which makes it easier.
You can get VA here on Steam, it's just under a tenner!
I wouldn't think that they'd ban macros as they provide an accessibility option.
Edit : But i can feel a little bit of "same" genre played game, you should try to open yourself to more "childish" genre games, you might discover some gems :)
As I am pushing 40 myself, I often look at the top left of my screen to watch the input as I put it in. Also, it might help by switching to a controller so your fingers don't have to move AS much, making putting things in a little bit easier.
the main benefit is that by having the stratagem keys be different from your movement keys, you can keep moving while entering the stratagems, so you don't have to stress as much about inputting them quickly!
if you run away while putting in the stratagems, you're doing a lot more for your team, as well.
I sit here with tears in my eyes that so many people could respond with helpful and kind words. Since my wife passed I've become a bit of a hermit - barely talking to my kids, grand-kids or anyone else.
I've met so many generous and kind people in this game, you'd be staggered. As a noob level 5, accidentally joining an 'Extreme' difficulty game, I was stunned when a level 40+ presented me with a mobile 'force field'. They didn't know my age or anything else about me!
I was a Soldier and Officer for nearly 25 years... came up from the Ranks. Served multiple tours before settling into Military Intelligence. That Adrenaline addiction still needs it's occasional 'fix'! LOL
Every HellDiver contributes. i know countless divers not even half your age who wouldnt even consider trying an extreme mission. If the stratagems are holding you back i recommend using mostly backpacks and support weapons. Personally i like to take advantage of stealth and fight robots. Dumb bots cant see for ♥♥♥♥!
Remember! Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast. Even as a helldiver.
I try to stick to the stratagems with not as many combinations. You can check my profile, I've played this game alot.
I play builds I like and still have a great time in this game. I'm fortunate to have some friends to play with. Send me an invite if you want to group up some time. Old Air Force guy here as well. Military Intel, too
Have a great day!
First change I made! Makes it a lot easier for sure.
Here is a sad truth.... I have to literally kick my wife off "Strategem Hero" on ship. I never get a turn to play.
