Helldivers 2 on Steam Deck?

Hello! I was wondering how Helldivers 2 preforms on a steam deck. I'm considering getting it, but am only going to be able to play on my steamdeck or underpowered laptop for a while. Anyone who has a steam deck and plays the game on it have any input? Thanks!

works fine, graphics on low, mostly 30-25 fps

Medium 40fps on lower difficulties, drops to ~15-30 range on higher difficulties.

Maps with high foliage will also chop a few frames off.

In a pinch, you can certainly do worse than Decking HD2

Haven't tried, but I assume it's terrible given the Deck keyboard + ingame textbook + frantic pace of the game lol

Though you don't really need it, you have a contextual ping button that'll call out anything you're pointing at. You can hold said button for a few more communications than just "look over there", too.

It does not work well on the deck, as of right now. Lower difficulties, sure (less mobs, projectiles, etc) on lowest of settings. Bump the difficulty up a tad (where you'd typically play), and the game runs too choppy to properly play the game as intended.

It's not currently a pleasant experience.

It can play helldivers 2 but if you're playing on the highest difficulty even on the lowest settings it can be Rocky around 20-40fps range. Would recommend if you can tolerate some games having to dip below 60fos every once in a while but the new RE,4 remake runs terrible though
