They should be thanking me
Sometimes in a pinch I'll nade my feet to thin out whatever is chasing me, but nades can do something most other resources can't, and that makes them a bit more valuable
Slugger for bile spewers. Why a nade?
Ain't carrying a Slugger because it makes existence a nightmare when you get swarmed by Hunters, that's why. Especially post-most recent patch where the spawn of those little monsters was upped.
That's just chaffe clearing.
Close bug holes? Check.
Nuke factories? Check.
Burn out 2 dozen small bugs preventing a breach. Check.
Act as suppression in a pinch vs bots so you don't get hit? Check.
End of the day though, there is no best, it's personal preference for the job at hand.
There Is a worse though, the frag grenade, F that useless thing.
High explosive is an all rounder and basic grenade that just...serves its purpose.
Frags are generally a weaker, but larger aoe version of the high explosive making them objectively better for larger swarms of small mobs.
Impact grenades are basically high explosive without the cook time and are great if you are focusing on quick kills, but you risk killing yourself or wasting them on structures if your aim is off by a pixel.
Incendiary are situational when compared to instant damage, but they are honestly great for Terminids, especially for breaches as it's basically a little napalm grenade.
Smoke is situational yet are one of the most underrated grenades for automatons, but comes with the massive downside of doing no damage to enemies or structures. You can complete objectives alone by just sitting at a terminal while the smoke keeps you safe for basically 30 seconds per grenade. Allowing you to do inputs under fire.
