I always bring cook grenades for bug holes
It isn't hard to cook or just time the grenade throw like you would many of the strategems.
Finding impacts to be superior functionally when trying to target weakpoints, but rarely use grenades for that function anyway after unlocking more stuff.
Other than that I think they're way better.
Blitz works better with regular explosive grenades, and Bot missions are generally easier with regular grenades instead of impact grenades.
If you're playing with a team, having some people with impacts to thin hordes and others with reg-grenades to clear holes/factories is a good way to play. Maybe drop one reg and have them take Smokes against Bots.
Isn't it funny that Automaton grenades have a GIANT RED BLINKING DISCO LIGHT ON THEM but our own grenades are like completely invisible tiny indistinct things you lose track of as soon as it leaves your hand?
