World map progress
Seriously, I really wonder what's the point of overpowering a planet one day. Only to see the next day that you've done everything for nothing.
And especially with these server problems that make me lose all my progress after half an hour of work to be disconnected and having done everything for nothing. very frustrating.
I mean if you look at the stats is pretty clear that thiss is getting old real fast

I usually ask the same thing at work

It's a faux, how majority of people don't see it is baffling.

Yeah! It has been, *checks watch* a few weeks and we have not ended the game yet? People can still play? This is an outrage and must be fixed immediately.

I love this game but my goodness, we should have made far more progress by now. As time goes on fewer and fewer players will be logging hours which means progress will be lost and enemy forces will push closer to super earth. The war will eventually be lost.

That is what a GM is for. They will scale the war to the size of the playerbase.

during the last months of the first game before the second games release almost all the wars were won, the devs probably never went back to scale it due to all the returners taking their excitement out of it. since HD2 is arrowheads flagship for now and they are adamant on the forever war idea we'll probably never actually lose the war just like how we wont win it for years to come (imagine a big final push or last stand super event at the end of the games lifecycle lol)

all the people saying its a never ending war. Go play the first helldivers. They did community effort right in that game. Its also a never ending war. Crazy right. What the devs did here was offer something that isnt actually there. What is a community effort if it is all going to be wiped away for nothing. I can understand once in awhile but its at the point the devs just put in a cheat code when we do to good. Go play call of duty or something if you just want to rerun the same map on repeat.
I dont know when we can reach end map if GM always do this

Why take a shower? You're just going to get dirty again.

the wars in the first game werent never ending though, you could win or lose them and it would start again in the next one. also one of the main criticisms of the first game was that once a faction was eliminated you could never play against them till that war was over, "whats the point of winning or losing the war if its all going to be the same a day later anyway?" would be my counter-point for your argument. its a non-issue dude, you personally wont be able to sway the war effort single handedly so dont put much thought into it, just play on the planets you like
