The stuff you described sounds like a lag.
It often displays the sound and interrupts if I just get hit, even without trying to jump.
I look forward to the day when they sync the sound effect with the stim actually taking effect so this stops happening.

Tis the only gripe I have with this game alongside Chargers being super quiet and coming out of nowhere, oh and how bits seem to have some sort of auto lock on sniper modes always active, even from halfway across the map
