Same, I didn't know about the twitch drop but seen some say they have the code & can't use it due to only making an X amount of codes, yet they where given one & some got the code but couldn't use it for their Region.
I know for a fact that on PS if you have an Australian account (witch is based in the EU Region) you can only use EU Region codes, so if someone from the US where to say send you a $50 card for doing something in a Warframe group then that wouldn't work from my Australian account, I'd have to make a US account which I did, as I played Planetside 2 a lot & having 400+ ping & latency from the EU version in that was BS & making a US account gave access to the US version of Planetside 2 - 180 to 220 ping & latency.
Dude its Austria not Australia.....but at least you know its in europe.
Also while i know how regionlock is sometimes frustrating but companys do it because different countrys different rules and sometimes its a hassle to do the bureaucracy necessary for them,,,,and the planetside thing is 100% a legal thing....since US laws suck ass and are much looser for companys than the EU....and you also lucked out cause austria is one of those afterthought countrys for most companys and most of the time we get the short end of the stick or not even that
