Why does Super Earth have a Sun that rises in the West? The rotation of the planet worries me.

The original Earth, and the first Super Earth, fell during a catastrophic pacification campaign against the Illuminates long ago. They employed WMDs of unimaginable power against our helpless civilian populations. He even told me there were several Super Earth since then that have known the same fate, until we could rally and push the squids back for the past hundred years. And now there's all those rumors and sightings they might be back. Liberty preserve us if they manage to reach Super Earth again...
