And what about people playing with friends? Some of them are more than willing to carry weaker friends while playing at the hardest levels.
If you're playing with randoms, expect some of them to not meet your standards. It is what it is. The best choice is to always find trusted regulars to fill your party.
OR...
Me and some of my friends launch a dif 9 mission and the game decides "eh fk it" and spams chargers, hunters, bile titans, and stalkers in such short time frames that even Joel would panic in said situation, cause we all know the spawns are fkd.
or me and my friends are just fkn around
Die 10 times, then leave the group and you without reinforcements.
Just CARRY HARDER SKULL ADMIRAL!
i disagree.. i've been playing exclusively on helldive for the past 12-14 hours of my playtime and then, yesterday i thought i would try playing on 7 because helldive is clearly broken (insane amount of enemy spawns, you just have to run away from most encounters etc.).
so i went to 7/9 and in terms of enemy encounters it was much better balanced (literally felt boring after getting used to the hell that helldive is), BUT players on 7/9, nearly all of them i played with, were so insanely bad i hurt me to see this.. i couldn't even believe how bad they were, super noobs..
on 9/9 i encountered only good to great players in those 12-14 hours i played exclusively on.. there was barely any noob (which makes sense because to queue for 9/9 you first have to unlock the difficulty and unlocking the difficulty as a noob won't be the easiest). people on helldive are mostly competent in this game and know exactly how to play it, how not to teamkill etc. if you think people on helldive are noob drop down to 7/9 and see what noobs in this game really are (and lets be honest, people playing on 7/9 aren't bad at this game either because the lower you go the worse people are usually
i agree about that though.. its rather rare, but sometimes you get someone on helldive thats clearly not suited to play on this difficulty, uses up like 10 lifes alone
i can only agree with Monzun. i play almost exclusively on 9 with a fix group of rotating 4-6 players. We sometimes have to fight for up to 10 minutes on one objective, 4-5 bile titans, dozens of bug breaches while trying to extract "survivors" and finally manage the extraction with samples, that's quite a lot of work. We occasionally help randomly on other difficulty levels - or join random 9er games. What we see on 9s is usually the nivou we expect, but what we find 7 and below is sometimes worse than helldive. As you say, people don't play badly, they just play differently in a way that sometimes I'm not sure who the real opponent is.
But it's fun too :)
Helldivers are recruited from the community of super earth.
Some will be better than others...
U might want to consider the helldiver discord there are plenty of good players to join.
