If we kick you, you know why quit acting like it's deep just use meta build and not troll wasting 40 minutes and a game's worth of samples to be lost. If you get kicked just look for another lobby or, you know, have friends lamo.

If you keep joining knowing full well you'll get kicked then YOU'RE the one trolling and causing problems then. YOU'RE the person disrupting MY game. You're not victims you didn't have 40 minutes wasted, (unlike us when non meta players join mid game and cause us to lose) you just want to cause problems for people and act like it's their fault.

I feel like I get it. I'm by no means good at the game. I don't even know what the current meta is. but I had an experience earlier where I cleared most of the objectives while my team was off spelunking for samples. During this 20 minute time frame they were down to 8 reinforcements and the guy in charge of the lobby said not to call the bus in. I told him I can wait til the last 5 minutes or 4 reinforcements, or he should kick me. I'm not interested in wasting 40 minutes for them to look for samples and failing on the extract. With as much as they were ending themselves I knew we'd need a buffer. He took the final option and kicked me. I don't blame him, that's why I put my position out there for him. Still, I don't think it was the right call on his part and I'm glad I only wasted 20 minutes instead of 40.

Also, don't farm your samples on a planet covered in vegetation and then complain about not being able to find the super sample.

This post is the very reason why in T-Minus twelve days from now Dragons Dogma 2 is going to drink all the gamers with the income to buy it, out of this game. I keep telling people "hardcore" gamers ruin everything. Meta-chasing fun destroying people who force developers to nerf.

It's what destroyed the MMO and it is what will destroy most PVE games if devs don't start taking a stand. MMOs can't say people don't want Story content, people just don't want to play with gamers like the OP who are a small minority that will continue to destroy the game for the majority.

The rail gun was nerfed because of Meta ♥♥♥♥♥♥. The next nerf will come from fans who lessen their engagement with the game to play other PVE titles.

Gladly there are looking into this kick problem right now.
Great would be bans for those, abusing the kick function (kicking often for no real reason, kicking players right at extraction and so on ...), but not to expect.
Another good idea would be, whoever abuses this function, can't make public lobbies anymore and can only play single / with friends.

You've got it backwards. If you want to play with an all-meta team, close your lobby and play with friends. If you are running open games that anyone can join you should be willing to play with people who might not be running meta builds. There is no way for someone to determine before joining a game what sort of requirements the host has.

Until the devs add lobby tagging (eg "Casual", "Meta Only", "Sample Hunting" etc.) be prepared for all types to join your lobby. Kicking should be used on actual trolls, not people just looking for other people to play with.

I can have my lobby public thank you, and I always tell people before I kick them "sorry but this is meta only" you're not wrong I wish they had a way to let noobs know but still won't change the fact when high level trolls still join with bad loadouts

Bro said "Meta Only" god, how sad can ones life be that even a game that is this casual is something you think needs to be a full 24/7 grind. You definitely do not have friends seeing as you NEED to kick casual players so frequently that you need to make a post about your "requirements" to play with you. You sound just like a karen as if people NEED to cater to you for some inexplicable reason. Have fun in your games or better yet, get a life.

The argument that anyone should be able to be kicked for any reason, at any time, unilaterally, is essentially an argument that casual multiplayer is not a mode that is allowed to exist.

Yet another game I am passing up because the quality of life for pugs is obviously not a concern that the devs had.

just join lower level lobbies.

Alternatively: What I use works regardless of difficulty, even if the people who don't care for it disagree.

You can easy mode clear helldive (9) with literally any kit as long as your team is balanced for light medium and heavy killing strategems. Arc thrower, recoiless, GL, jump packs, guard dogs, orbital ems, orbital gas. Everything the wanna-be players cry "ISNT META" is actually quite strong if you know its use case and know how to abuse its strengths. I am sure I will get eaten alive for this but stalwart even has a place in helldive difficulty, if you disagree you are likely bad at the game and coping.
