Dmg. is very underhelming. Maybe that´s the reason why not so much ppl use it.

It does..... but it takes time.... much time ... and before it happens the sentry gets destroyed.
Nope it doesnt, at all... Just like the other poster said Ive seen it unleash 4 to 5 full volleys on a charger with all hits and no armor taken.
The auto runs out of ammo very, very quickly but has a hefty punch, and the gatling has a high rof and decent pen against anything short of a charger.
The rocket turret ammo lasts a lot longer than the auto but doesn't have it's punch, and it doesn't have the rate of fire of the gatling but does penetrate a bit more. It tries to make up for that with aoe, so it's role is basically the same as the gatling only it doesn't bounce off chargers.
Kind of a generalist turret, in my view, which puts it in a weird place in this game.
All this assumes you have all the turret upgrades, which make a huge difference for all the turrets.
I should also mention the rocket turret does quite well against spitters. They seem very vulnerable to explosions.
Strange.... in the first week it destroyed a Chargers armor after many shots.
Haven´t used it anymore, because dmg. was underhelming and i replaced it with EMS mortar.
Maybe it got nerfed or bugged.
Now that you mention it, it was working fine before the patch lol. Maybe they broke it? I rarely take it over the auto cannon turret, but figured I'd try it today when we were all running turrets and just noticed it was doing, absolutely nothing.
