is the SMG 37 or the AR-23P better for bots

i want to get into the bot levels and people always kick me for not using good guns so which of these 2 would be better?

Unlikely they kicked because of a primary weapon, they did it out of spite, that's a sad reality.

Both are reasonable but the AR-23P is ideal for precision due to its lower damage yet overcoming weakness most weapons have, say the Hulk's Faceplate/visor, you can shoot at it where as most won't. SMG 37 Defender is actually great overall because it has extremely higher damage for its use compared to the other assault rifles and good stability to ensure you can easily three-tap headshot a Devastator, just don't expect it do well for armored though. Plus you can jog and fire behind you as it is a one-handed weapon, also great for those who wish to use Ballistic Shields/carrying suitcases to objectives.

Even with these two, you still need to use your Strategems to deal with any heavier targets. As for why being kicked, it can be like you said but it can be for ANY reason. I've been kicked for being level 50 in a Difficulty 4 Mission or simply having Super Citizen Title.
