AMD performance
I got the game a day after 24.2.1 released so i havent tested 24.1.1 until today.
Even though the patchnotes said optimized for helldivers 2, the performance on the old one is better. Especially in the 1% lows i gained about 10fps and the game runs a lot smoother for me.
Thought i just throw it out there for people who got performance issues aswell.
My 5600x is really struggling with this game

I'm with my RX 6750 XT and in some games is getting hard to keep my 60fps steady.
In some cases can drop to 30fps

yea i got the same gpu. What cpu you got?
i only had the 5600x 1.5 years, so i didnt expected it to bottleneck so hard.
had the same in cyberpunk and in pacific drive

Undervolt in AMD settings, that helps with bottlenecking

Works fine for me 5700X and 6800XT just run allways the newest drivers , maybe Undervolt a bit for more headroom wise power and heat.

difficulty 9 bug egg mission

CPU usage in this game is wild.
its like running prime95 and not a game...

12 cores (SMT disabled + curve -20 allcore) nearly full used.

p.s. i play at 1440p medium with 90fps cap and have zero fps drops and 0.1% low = 90
but iam sure with an 5800x or 5600x it would be a different story.

it's already undervolted to -16, anything lower causes crashes from time to time.
I tried overclocking too, but it wasnt stable and really didnt do anything to performance on this cpu. Under full load temp maxes out at 61°

I'm with you, I check for updates daily. I just tried the driver from last month because i randomly saw a video testing both version. The old one performes better, roughly 10% less load on the cpu while improving the 1% lows around 10fps. In my case this prevents my game from dipping below 60.
I'm already undervolted, can't go below -16 sadly...wasn't too lucky with the silicon lottery
