having done an unstall with AMDs Cleanup Ultility tool and then installing the current 24.2.1 Drivers did solve the crashing issues for me, for now
buy nvidia card
What i did was render scale to native, fps capped at 60fps, global screen illumination off
driver 24,2,1
zero crashes since then
DX11 just performed better on my more dated system
DX12 had extremely high CPU load (95% or higher). DX11 ran at around 70% cpu load, which is great, because it put more of the workload on my GPU.
I had 1 crash in 40+ hrs of playtime on the previous update, previous driver and using d3d11 launch param. Now it doesn't matter if I use d3d11 or not, same crash
