You may have missed my point.
I'm actually talking about those spitting on the people bringing argument on what is wrong with the last patch, and in general with the direction tend to take.
I see a company that got lucky with this game, and don't have the skill or understanding why this game is fun, since Helldiver 1 was a failure in the sense that not many heard of it.
So this game is filled with dad gamers, who hate "Meta" builds, and don't want to bring the right tools for the mission because "fun" means running over others for it.
At the same time you got meta players, who call out the developers for the worse balance game they seen in awhile, and lazy "hard' content design, that punishes what makes this game fun.
The developers being unskilled, and clueless is the main problem with the game. The toxic community could be ignored, if the game had a good balance, and foundation.
The foundation of this game is unstable at best, it does not know what it wants to be.
Happened with Darktide/Vermintide too.
People say those games are dead but the players that ARE on those games are very nice and a tight community. You can feel it when playing and how the people who stay are more teamwork-oriented than annoyingly/selfishly playing like a solo.
In general you'll just see more selfish people in games that are trending/game-of-the-month.
The true snowflake is someone that can't stand to see a word- so blocks everyone and stays in their safe echo chamber lol.
Diablo 4 dev kept nerfing players, making youtube contents useless, and make player feel like they wasted their time. WHILE the game needed a lot of QoL improvment and real end game content that were not fixed & delivered. all that while pushing out micro transaction contents.
Helldivers 2 is on a similar path. nerfing player weapon when the server isn't even fully stable, lack of end game content. (boss fight are not even out yet) just brings a bad waste.
happy gamers = successful game. cuz gamers are the customers who pays. Not like Arrowhead paying us to play the game.
You give these developers way too much credit, all they did was make themselves look stupid, and they don't know how to handle this game.
NEgative feedbacks isn't the toxicity I'm talking about.
I'm talking about the golums that come spitting on those emitting the feedbacks.
People should stop just read a title and think they know what op wrote. It's tiresome.
