Subtitle Mode

I've been digging through the internet and there is not a single answer anywhere, so far as I can see. What's the difference between "On-Screen Only" and "In-World Only"?

Nevermind, it's actually kinda obvious now that I'm in-game, but I'm gonna keep this and actually say what it does for the people like me who are looking for it

On-Screen Only shows subtitles at the bottom of the screen
In-World Only shows subtitles above the head of whoever's speaking

And then of course you can have both or neither
