it's so good. seriously, this thing 3shots stalkers and can 1shot warriors. i see nobody talking about it or using it.

While it's a ton better now, it kinda still struggles against swarms of weaker enemies because of its slow fire rate.

That and Breaker's only real nerf was 3 fewer rounds in the mag and a bit more recoil, it's still pretty dominant for general use.

Because the rate of fire is still too slow to kill a stalker before their friend tackles you to the ground.

The punisher did deserve to have the ammo situation less ♥♥♥♥♥♥. But the reasons people use the breaker, are still the reasons people use the breaker even after the nerf.

Though like a lot of things, Punisher (now that the ammo isn't screwed over as much), is much better against robots than bugs, if you want a shotgun that won't zip a slug an inch past the small bots, but can still wreck chainsaw hands.

Slugger is great vs bigger bots, but it like a lot of games the """accurate""" shotgun is still working with wacky aim sway because videogame shotguns. Harder to notice if just sitting still taking potshots at big skulls or fat bugs. But trying to strafe shoot a row of trash before they fire a flare can get rough with the slugger.

Unironic "Do you think it is good because you are you playing on low difficulty?" problems when it comes to the punisher vs bugs. Wow, OP is amazed that the slow pump action, can THREE shot... ONE stalker? What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ paradise to be where your big problems are just one stalker.

Punisher is an on paper great shotgun designed for an entirely different game, basically. Or, designed specifically for this game if you go by the dev post declaring primary weapons are supposed to suck.

But at least now, it is worth bringing along as "Pretty good" instead of "Out of ammo and hardly anything is dead yet"

No one had problems with the smaller enemies, it's the armored ones that appear 4-5 at a time that are making people annoyed.

It's okay, but it is too slow for reliable crowd control. Unlike Breaker, Punisher will not help you when there are 10 hunters in your face.
