Machine Gun vs Stalwart

Hear me out, ok. I find that the machine gun is a bit disappointing when compared to the stalwart. Sure, it has a little teeny bit of extra damage and a teeny bit of armor pen, but for the very slow reload and the amount of ammo it chews through - it basically necessitates carrying the supply pack or something to make your reserve last long enough to be effective. The stalwart however is very good. For only a little damage and pen tradeoff, you can reload while moving and get the fastest(?) firing weapon in game. It's a great weapon.

I think it'd be cool to have a backpack machine gun. Some big, beefy, browning machine gun style weapon. Maybe slow the fire rate down, buff the damage. Maybe base it to be a slightly worse HMG emplacement gun. The MG already needs an ammo pack to maximize its effectiveness, why not slide it further into that role? That way you have the lighter machine gun to be carried around (stalwart) and the heavy machine gun can fit in comfortably as a horde-clearing heavy weapon.

I'm not just suggesting it because it'd be the coolest weapon in the game and I'm not biased I promise
