Mechs are terrible.
I mean, seriously? "We waited a month instead of launching mechs at launch so they could be polished". Come on man.

They're slow and sluggish and die to literally anything. Bug swarm you and you can't do anything, robots hit you with one rocket and it's done.

The ammo is so low you run out in 2 minutes of conservative use. Let alone using them during swarms. And there's no way to refill them.

You get only two, after a ten minute delay.

You can't call gems like in HD1 while in the mech.

The ONLY usecase for them is anti charger, and even then it's so absurdly inconvenient that it's basically dedicated to just that, and you can't really do a whole lot of other stuff while in it.

That's not even mentioning the bugs surrounding it, like rockets exploding in the tube half the time you shoot and turn. Or how about when the mechs are DOA? Happened to me on more than half of the call ins. No attacks, no nothing. Completely silent and cool call in only to result in an exploded mech.

Remove the capacity on number of mechs that can be called, reduce the time to five minutes/allow us to resup the mechs, and they'll be even somewhat useful then. Yet again the devs prove to the community they don't play above difficulty four.

MY god you are a waste of air really. I just completed suicide mission using 3 mechs at extraction and felt like trivial. Please....you just complain about ANYTHING.

Jiffy is right to say these things. It's true, no matter what. Mechs feel just bad to use. They need the armor values our enemies use to begin with. Actual vehicle armor. Not a health pool.

It can kill any large enemy in the game with ease, multiple of them. On what planet are they not useful.

Not being able to use stratagems from the mech is the most major offense, since this was possible in HD1. What's the fanboy defense for this massive failure?

yup they are trash. very overpowered for like 30 seconds then incredibly useless and you're giving up a slot for them

My main issue is that the melee button needs to be the same as when you're on foot, an oversight sure but it's pretty basic.

Not being able to call stratagems while inside the mech seems pretty fair to me considering it's firepower. Everything else you listed was STANDARD in the first game. It's not even the last vehicle to be released. Calm down.

Why? That would make it too easy and everyone would use them. Play better instead

They are cool, but I don't know if I will pick it if they occupy one of the slots of the 4 stratagems in the future...except for the memees and fun, indeed.

the mechs are fine, they are a walking rocket truck which is good for heavies. But yes they are not made to survive being swarmed

Cool. Now do a Helldive with it. A mission above 5 minute too preferably.

This is not even remotely true. Mechs are awesome and can kill chargers/bilte titans ez. They make a big difference. Can have more impact than an orbital laser i'd say. The ammo isn't that bad either unless you just hold down the fire button and waste it. 1 rocket is enough to break the armor on a charger's leg for example, 2-3 rockets and you can kill a bile titan like snap.

I don't know what it is with the trolls that just try to stir up people here with hyperbole and nonsense all the time.
