Just got kicked out of the discord for Helldivers 2 over LGBT comment.

So someone started posting all the "dirt" on the LGBT stance of the devs, and I got kicked out because I questioned why this group of people need their flag everywhere and why should they get a flag put on as capes where nobody else will? The moment I posted that shortly after I was kicked out of the discord.

Not gonna lie, this censorship and LACK of democracy is getting old.

EDIT PS: The point I had tried to make as I have on reddit, is that if you give the cape to them you MUST give it to EVERYONE or NOBODY at ALL. Fair is fair. If I'm made to put up with seeing it, at least be FAIR to the other groups of people that are "underrepresented".
Either way, I'm sick of Politics of the left in everything. Just leave me alone and let me play my game and tune out from world crap.

Oh and as a final message to those who support this censorship to protect your fragile ideology to this I say one simple thing: Seethe more, and your hatred of DIVERSITY of THOUGHT only brings more awareness to the way you people think and act.

What makes this so different than any other form of physical deviation from standard. The body works correctly. Are rare instances of pansexual, but same thing. Nothing changes with surgery except self perception.

Instead of building a society to help the mind change how they accept their body, we encourage changing the body to accept the mind.

The problem is you are discounting the possibility that issues with self-perception can be severe enough to warrant physical intervention.

Gender identity is not an elastic thing in the vast majority of instances. Someone suffering from gender dysphoria won't really have any realistic psychological solutions. No, not discounting that at all. I am saying that many people face the very same thing and there is nothing they can do about it. Much more significant issues affecting things than gender dysphoria. Now of course, I cannot directly understand the concept, but even trying to imagine and place myself in that role I do not understand it.

But most all studies and discussion I have seen around it tie directly into things like how person is treated in society and lifestyle. Is why I brought up skin bleaching. That was a very real thing in the last century where people of color would bleach their skin to feel more comfortable with themselves and within society.

I can fully understand and recognise what you describe from a sociological standpoint. I have been in a similar position for different reasons. To hate oneself so much to the point of attempted suicide. My issues were not something that can just be fixed with a surgery either.

Now not being able to speak directly from their position is a significant caveat, but from my perception and life experiences, this is just masking and avoiding issue while failing to address what forms these thoughts in the first place. Acceptance is about liking both your body and your desires. You can like what you like regardless of your biology.
