You have to have logged in during it and have participated on missions on those planets. At least that is what I was told. A lot of players are missing their rewards. The devs are aware but haven't said anything yet. Some claim the devs changed it last minute to a failure but that would be awfully spiteful and petty of them.

You were lied to, folks making stuff up and claiming its true.
Nobody got medals no matter the circumstance. I am pretty sure you just need to play at all during the major order time frame, had a guy who got a previous reward despite never playing an effected planet. And i'm not even sure if that's even a requirement.
There was no switcheroo failure, official dev statement is that the medals are coming, the supercomputer is working on it.

I mean i have gotten previous ones and only participated in them a few times but this last one i was able to put in a few hours each afternoon into it. but if its a waiting game its no big deal. Thanks everyone

lol, not far off. small studio lit on fire from having 10 times the players they expected. Yeah no kidding they are under stress then an army of thousands of man children get super toxic over an honestly well justified balance patch? Easy bet. (i don't even care if you agree or like the balance patch. 2 or 3 things out perform everything else? something is wrong and a fix is coming. The only point of discussion was what got patched and in what manner.)
