The current Drama makes me sad
I really had fun playing to lev50 and the journey was pretty wholesome, playing with randos or friends alike. The most fun i had with a game for years.

Coming back a week later, after taking a break from the game, it seems that devs and players are trying to genuinely kill each other (ingame obviously).
It cant be just from a patch, sooo ..... Wtf happened?

I think i will stay out of this, take a seat and observe this show as a bystander untill the dust has settled and more content is in the game.

Hope yall take a deep breath and chill for a second, Devs and Players.

For Democracy

Just stay away from the social media. (also include steam forum btw)
In game it's more of the same, expect less railgunner now.

Rightfully or wrongly, the loudest are always the ones to effect change.

Talk about the changes, don't be flame bait about it, and don't engaged with said bait. Then wait and see. Even the best intentioned of threads quickly devolve into flaming wars.

I already got over 100hrs of play. The game is now less fun as a result of the balance changes. I shall now wait for Mechs, try that, then wait for future balance changes and try that. In the mean time, I shall move on to my backlog.

The game came out a month ago, and that time of discovery was bringing the community together, but a few days ago it was mainly how the people on the discussion forms here were clammering for the railgun/shield gen combo was too strong. Now that both items were nerfed slightly, the community on the other side of the argument are upset for getting nerfs in a pve game.

I can understand where they're coming from, but I feel like a balanced game is better for the longevity of the game than one that gives more power to the player than they actually need.
Don't worry. If you're doing it right, sadness will soon give way to shame.

All the people enjoying the game and actually completing missions and having fun are doing just that. Like Chaos said, stay away from the social media and comments sections. It's devolved to either posting "Don't add lgbt" troll bait, or moaning about anything and everything in the game.
