Yeah, but isn't that just like every other game that reward you more for playing on higher difficulty? Why would anyone feel bad about being rewarded less when the content they're doing is, in fact easier than that of someone at a higher difficulty. That should just drive them to get better at the game so they can get that same level of reward or prestige at the end of the mission.
Let's put it this way, if the reward or accommodation is the same for both low level and high level, it lessen the incentive to actually strive to get to those higher level of difficulties.
The stars also mean nothing, they don't affect rewards or outcome
