Why change the rating system?
I've just got done playing on challenging and hard just to test out the weapon nerfs and buffs, but finishing up the maximum star level was 3 and 4 respectively. Why? It only serves to make the player feel bad for playing on not even that low a difficulty. What good does it do? Was there really any harm in letting players feel good for achieving their objectives? And what about people who only play on those difficulties, are they meant to just sit there and feel like they've achieved less?

Are you sure you did all the optional objectives and cleared all the nests? Thats what you need for a 5 star rating

No no, it's not that there's any missing objectives, it's that it's been changed so it's now 3 out of 3 stars on challenging, which just feels.. not great?

Why would anyone feel bad, if they can acknowledge that it's a lower level difficulty and they even earn less medals than that of higher difficulty, then getting less max stars shouldn't really be an issue.

Well it doesn't feel great being limited like that. It's a sort of dopamine thing, it feels a lot better to achieve all you can and be given 5 stars, rather than achieving the same things and only getting 3 stars while knowing that it's different for those who play higher difficulties.

Yeah, but isn't that just like every other game that reward you more for playing on higher difficulty? Why would anyone feel bad about being rewarded less when the content they're doing is, in fact easier than that of someone at a higher difficulty. That should just drive them to get better at the game so they can get that same level of reward or prestige at the end of the mission.

Let's put it this way, if the reward or accommodation is the same for both low level and high level, it lessen the incentive to actually strive to get to those higher level of difficulties.

I mean... (3/3) = (5/5) my guy

The stars also mean nothing, they don't affect rewards or outcome
