So many matches I've played on higher difficulty with randoms everybody runs with heavy weapons (railgun) and I'm typically the only person using a trash clearing weapon like the GL and turrets.
I'll typically run with turrets and GL while my sister that I play with will run heavy weapons and airstrikes. If we encounter bugs she'll call down an airstrike at the same time I call down a turret which deals with 90% of the enemies while I cover/reload my sister while she's taking out heavy enemies, we mop up any small guys before they can call in a bug breach and we move on. Ocassionally you need to rely on stealth if your key stratagems are on cooldown but it's maybe for 10% of the match.
Well, far be it from ME to suggest teamwork in a co-op game...
Anyway, that would be enough for 6 chargers, you could blast a paw in 1 shot then finish it off with anything else.
A railgun could deal with 10 chargers in quick sucession, 2 shots for each one (leg), then repeat the same process.
Considering you have 4 teamates, if nobody is troling you chould potentially deal with 24(?)~40 chargers in quick sucession before you had to reload.
Titans can be trickier, hitting the same body part (forehead, often, mouth is hard to aim) is a lot harder, a titan will often die to a couple of railgun shots, or you'll spend half your ammo landing at the wrong spots before it's dead.
Oh, also, that's just kills from regular ammo, we're not counting orbitals, turrets and eagles.
PS: I realize that most weapons take too long to reload to be viable without a teamate, I'm just pointing out that a decent team with decent unlocks could kill a lot more than "a couple" of chargers.
Hell, most players in dif9 split from the team to solo complete objectives and they often kill dozens of chargers (and titans) on their own while doing little minigames for the objectives or look for supercredits on the map.
If you need help with trivial:
- You can bring more than one
- More than one helldiver can bring more than one
- You can collect your dropped support weapon after you die
- Teammates can technically share weapons if you see above
- Run away and regroup, repeat
but then say primarys arnt supposed to be that strong?
people just wanted more guns to feel as effective as the breaker is as a primary. but in their own ways which i guess was not so obvious. but oh no apparently everyone just wants primarys to be super good. and we dont know ♥♥♥♥ after using these things for a few weeks.
the buffs were good they were just too few of them.
the people who say helldive is impossible without certain gear are just wrong i never used the meta and do helldive very well. not even the group i play with used the railgun.
its about the teamwork truly.
but everyone i matchmake with just use's the same damn loadout.
fricking light armour, breaker, smg pistol and railgun or GL
with a few outliers
