Break Action Shotgun as a Primary Weapon Option

I was just doing some runs to test Stratagems Orbital and Eagle Strikes without a Secondary weapon and I would find the Break Action very often so I just used it. Honestly compared to other shotguns it's got the smallest spread at 100 yards and can easily one shot most small tier creatures at that range even scoring two kills at times that far. Then being a quick reload and hip fire plus not losing ammo to reloading early I just starting wondering why it's not the first shotgun we can use at Level 1 before the first unlock of the Punisher. Even with other shotgun options available I'd probably still take the Break Action over the others simply for it's small spread, it can even take down devastators with well aimed head shots.

All in all though, just a thought I figured I might toss out there and I'm not sure if anyone else out there used the Break Action Shotgun before and think of the weapon after using it. Also yes I have also depended upon it to help me get through "Suicide" difficulty missions with others before as it can still help a lot with things like Hunters or those Rocket Bots.

Honestly if you've never thought much of it I'd say give it a run to see how it feels, might surprise you with it's performance then come by and tell us how it went.

I second this. It is suprisingly good, and just kinda fun to use.

You want the Double Freedom from HD1, as I do. Lots of us simply want HD1 weapons and then the new stuff. I miss my Ninja SMG. Even with new spins for 'em. Sickle is way different in each game.
